Senses Interactive Book
This series of books are interactive, multi-sensory, play based experiences. They are designed with neurodivergent learners in mind, using clear images, plain backgrounds, and short phrases to promote receptive understanding. Best use is to pair toys and sensory experiences with each page. You will find the items needed for each book on the last page.
Each book is also paired with one or more sequenced activities that correspond with the content of the story. These activities can be used during individual or group treatment.
Skills that are targeted and modeled during these stories include but are not limited to: core and fringe word acquisition, prepositions/spatial concepts, inferencing, following directions, turn-taking, sequencing, and literacy.
Prep is required. Pages are to be printed and laminated. Stimulus images are to be cut out and Velcro-ed on the appropriate pages. Please contact the seller with any questions.
